Jan Matheus fue un grabador e ilustrador que estuvo activo entre 1667 y 1685 en Augsburgo, posteriormente se le sitúa en París hasta 1710 fecha se cree  fue su fallecimiento.

Jan Matheus was an engraer and illustrator who was active between 1667 and 1685 in Augsburg, later he was located in Paris until 1710 when he is believed to have died.
