Louis - Simon  Lempereur fue un grabador a buril de interpretación, su obra es muy variada y heterogénea, miembro de la Real Academia de Escultura y pintura desde 1776 hasta su fallecimient, fue uno de los grandes grabadores que colaboraron con las ideas de la ilustración, 

Louis - Simon Lempereur was a burin engraver of interpretation, his work is very varied and heterogeneus, a member of The Royal Academy of Sculpture and Painting from 1776 until his death, he was one of the great engravers who collaborated with the illustration works.
