Gérard René Le Villain, fue excelente grabador a buril de retratos  y de genero, colaboró con innumerables publicaciones de la época, siendo au aportación mas destacable  las planchas realizadas para la publicación  " Galerie du Musée Napoleon ", colección aparecida entre 1800 y 1815 del grabador y comerciante de estampas Antoine Filhol.

Gérard René Le Villain , was an excellent engraver of portraits and genre, he collaborate with countless publications of the time, being his most outstanding contribution the plates made for the publication " Galerie du Museé Napoleon " a collection published between 1800 and 1815 by the engraver and print dealer Antoine Filhol.
