DAVID, HERIOME

 Heriome David  ( 1590 - 1670 )

Heriome David, fue un grabador e ilustrador de libros a buril francés, activo entre 1625 y 1670 en París y posteriormente en Roma donde falleció en 1670, sus obras están muy influenciadas por su hermano el también grabador Charles David ( 1595? - 1636? ) al inicio de su carrera sus obras estan firmadas con el monograma H.D. cambiando a H. David al final de su carrera  sus estampas se confunden con el también grabador Henry David activo a mediados del Siglo XVII en Rouan, los dos grabadores firmaron sus obras con las mismas iniciales  H. David.

Heriome David was a french engraver and illustrator pf books to burin, active between  1625 to 1670 in Paris and later in Rome where he died in 1670, his works are very influenced by his brother the also engraver Charles Dacid ( 1595? - 1636? ), at the beginning of his career his works are signed with monogram H.D. changing to H. David at the end of his career, his engravings are confused with the also engraver Henry David, active in the middle of the 17th century in Rouan, the two engravers signed their works with the same initials H. David.
